Apricot Roxana
Roxana is a mid-early apricot variety that ripens from mid to late July and can be picked for three weeks. The fruit is large, slightly flattened and round, orange-red, 50–70% washed with carmine, with firm, juicy and flavourful flesh. Fully ripe, it has an exceptionally fine taste. The tree has weak growth, 1.5–2 m tall. It starts bearing early, is partially self-fertile and has good productivity; the yield can be increased with Hungarian Best as a pollinator. Frost-sensitive, so plant it in a sheltered spot. Suitable for fresh consumption, fibrous juices and export.
